I was a bit nervous today going alone to show a property to someone I’d never met. Intellectually, I know to prepare for such an appointment. I did ask him to meet me at my office, but that didn’t work with his schedule. So where was my pepper spray… probably in the box in the garage where I keep lots of real estate stuff. So I told a colleague and our office assistant where I was going and who I was meeting, and I carried my cell phone in my hand.
The showing went well, but I was left with the belief that, for my own safety, there must be more I can do to always be prepared. Here are some articles I’m perusing, for you to read if you, too, want some ideas.
However, I’d be glad to hear your recommendations. Thanks if you have something you will share with the rest of us.
